Gabala player James Adeniyi will join the team in the coming days.

The statement came from the club's general manager Zaur Azizov, reports.

He said that even if the Nigerian striker returns to Azerbaijan, he will not stay in the team: "Adeniya has several offers from abroad. We are currently evaluating them. As he is a high-paid player, he will most likely leave Gabala."

It should be noted that James Adeniyi, who signed a 3-year contract with Gabala in the summer of 2018, scored 12 goals in 31 games that season. The African forward spent the 2019/2020 season on loan at Israeli club Hapoel (Kiryat Shmona).
