On the last day of the competition, freestyle wrestler Ahmadnabi Gvarzatilov (61 kg) won a gold medal, defeating local wrestler Andrey Celepi with a score of 7: 2. Instead, Jabrayil Hajiyev (70 kg), who lost to Ilyas Bekbulatov of Uzbekistan 0: 5 in the decisive match, won a silver medal. The bronze medal was won by Vahid Galayev, who defeated Moldova's Samhan Jabrailov 8: 4 in the match for third place.

It should be noted that Ali Rahimzade and Turan Bayramov won gold and bronze medals, respectively, in the 65 kg weight category. The only bronze medal in women's wrestling was won by Turkan Nasirova (50 kg).
