Parviz Pasha oglu Nasibov was born on August 18, 1998 in Muganli village of Agstafa region. Parviz lived in Muganli until he was six years old. According to one of his interviews, he started his sports career in his native village. He practiced freestyle wrestling here for a year.

In 2004, Parviz and his family moved to Nikolaev, Ukraine. Deciding to continue his sports career here, Parviz switched to Greco-Roman style in Ukraine.

Successes in his career

He participated in the World Cup in Iran in March 2017. Although the national team finished sixth in the competition, it was the only Ukrainian wrestler to fight undefeated in all fights.

In July of the same year, Parviz defeated Georgian Georgi Kurtanidze in the final of the competitions held in Dortmund, Germany, and became the European champion among juniors. In September 2018, he won a bronze medal at the Junior World Championships in Trnava, Slovakia.

Parviz Nasibov qualified for the Tokyo Olympic Games in May 2021 at the tournament in Sofia, Bulgaria. Despite losing here, Nasibov, who advanced undefeated to the finals of the Tokyo Olympics, won a silver medal for Ukraine. This is Parviz's first big award among adults. Earlier, the athlete won medals at the world and European championships only at the youth level.
