Mercedes CEO Toto Wolf told reporters that some races on the American continent may be canceled, Offsideplus.az reports.
"Races in the United States, Mexico and Brazil, scheduled for October-November, are in jeopardy. We can't go to those countries right now. Formula One chief executive Chase Carey doesn't want to close any doors. But I don't think we will go there."
It should be noted that the new season in Formula 1 has resumed with the Austrian Grand Prix. The competition will end on July 5.
So far, the Grand Prix of Bahrain, Vietnam, China, Spain and Canada have been postponed, while the stages of Australia, Monaco, the Netherlands, France, Azerbaijan, Singapore and Japan have been canceled.
