The winner of the 60-lap race was Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton for the 91st time in his career. Thus, the British driver tied with the seven-time world champion Michael Schumacher of Germany in the number of victories.

The second place went to Max Ferstappen from Red Bull. Renault driver Daniel Riccardo closed the top three. This is the first podium after Renault's return to the championship.

In total, 15 out of 20 pilots managed to reach the finish line. Another member of the Mercedes, Valtteri Bottas, was among those who did not finish his speech. Although the Finnish pilot won the qualifying round, he could not continue the fight in the 18th lap of the main race due to a technical problem.

Thus, Hamilton reached 230 points at the end of 11 Grand Prix, leaving his closest rival Botta 69 points behind. Ferstappen is in third place with 147 points. In the constructors' competition, Mercedes is in the first place with 391 points, Red Bull is in second place with 211 points, and Racing Point is in third place with 120 points.
