Offsideplus.az reports that two matches were held on the first day.

Gabala hosted the last national champion Qarabag. The representative of Agdam, who won the first match with a score of 3: 1, advanced to the semifinals, winning the return match with a score of 3: 0.

In the other match of the day, Sumgayit was a guest of Sabail. The representative of the "youth city", which won with a score of 2: 1, reached the semifinals for 2 away goals. In the first match between the teams, the capital club won 1-0.

Thus, "Sumgayit" and Qarabag will face each other in the semifinal.
