The draw for the 2025 world championship among men's handball players was held.

Offsideplus.az reports that 32 teams will compete in 8 groups.

The World Cup will be hosted by three countries for the first time. The championship will be held next year from January 14 to February 2 in Croatia, Denmark and Norway.

According to the regulations, the top 3 teams in the groups will advance to the next round. In the 2nd round, 24 teams will compete in 4 groups. At this stage, the 2 strongest of the groups will have the right to play in the 1/4 finals.

Group A: Germany, Switzerland, Poland, Czech Republic.
Group B: Denmark, Tunisia, Algeria, Italy.
Group C: Austria, Kuwait, Qatar, France.
Group D: Hungary, Guinea, North Macedonia, Netherlands.
Group E: Norway, USA, Brazil, Portugal.
Group F: Sweden, Chile, Japan, Spain.
Group G: Slovenia, Cape Verde, Cuba, Iceland.
Group H: Croatia, Bahrain, Argentina, Egypt.
