Nigerian duo Chichin Akande, 18 and Munachi Okwara 20 are set to mark their debut in the Azerbaijani first division as Gabala takes on Kepaz in the opening fixture. The lads who a few weeks ago sealed a deal with Azerbaijan side Gabala FC were recruited to play in the second team.
However, they can play in the Premier League at any time since they have been registered.
It should be noted that the 2021/22 season in Division I will start today.
