Offsideplus.az reports that the decision was made at the meeting of the AFFA Disciplinary Committee.

Karimov was punished for threatening the referee and trying to verbally pressure him while making a statement to the press after the match between "Karvan" and "Gabala" of the VIII round of the I League. The trial period is set for 3 months. This action of the head coach also resulted in the club being fined 400 manats.

Karimov's assistant Zaur Hajiyev was also punished. He was disqualified for 5 games for threatening the rival head coach, and the representative of Yevlakh was fined 400 manats.

"Karvan" players - Mushfiq Teymurov and Bahruz Teymurov - were also severely punished. M. Teymurov was suspended for 4 games for insulting the referees and behaving aggressively after the match. B. Teymurov was also disqualified for 4 matches for insulting the referees. AFFA fined the club a total of 600 manats for two players.

"Karvan" was also fined for its fans. Thus, the club was fined 80 manats for throwing a foreign object on the field, and 50 manats for mass insulting expressions, and this happened for the second time in the current season.

The representative of Yevlakh was fined 80 manats for entering the arena by outsiders, and the announcer was fined 50 manats for violating the requirements of the Regulations. Also, "Karvan" team lost 70 manats because 4 players received yellow cards.
