Azerbaijan high jump champion Yusif Abdullayev has been disqualified for 4 years.

Offsideplus.az reports with reference to the press service of AMADA that this was caused by the athlete's violation of anti-doping rules.

He was punished for evading, refusing or failing to submit a sample. The athlete's punishment came into effect on September 11 and will end on September 10, 2028.

It should be noted that Y.Abdullayev became the champion of Azerbaijan in high jump in May of this year.
