Three Azerbaijani boxers reached the finals of the ongoing U-23 European Championship in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria.

Offsideplus.az reports that Tural Sariyev (48 kg) faced Samet Oruj Salih (Turkey) in the semi-finals.

 Our boxer, who won with a score of 4:1 (30:27, 28:29, 30:27, 30:27, 30:27), advanced to the finals. He will face Luis Rooney (Ireland) in the decisive match.

Nijat Huseynov, who fought at 51 kg, also won the semi-final fight. He beat Omer Ametovic (Serbia) - 5:0 (30:27, 30:27, 30:27, 30:27, 30:27). Huseynov will fight with Rudolph Garboyan (Armenia) in the final.

Murad Allahverdiyev (80 kg) also finished the semi-final match. He defeated Ahmed Mavrić (Serbia) in all 3 rounds and finally won 5:0 (30:27, 30:27, 30:27, 30:27, 30:27). Our boxer will test his strength against Cesar Jojerlin (France) in the final.

National members N. Huseynov and M. Allahverdiyev will enter the ring on October 19, while T. Sariyev will enter the ring the next day.
