"Vugar Hashimov" team will start competing in the European Chess Cup, which will start today in Serbia.

Offsideplus.az reports that the press service of the Azerbaijan Chess Federation released information about this.

Today, the European Chess Cup among clubs will be started in the city of Vranjačke-Bane, Serbia. "Vugar Hashimov" club will represent Azerbaijan in the competition. In the first round, our representative will compete with Norway's SOSS club.

Rauf Mammadov, Aydin Suleymanli, Vugar Asadli, Ahmed Ahmadzade, Vugar Manafov, Ulvi Sadikhov and Read Samadov will perform in the Azerbaijan club. The captain of the team will be Sarkhan Hashimov.

In total, 7 rounds will be played in the European Cup where 84 clubs compete.
