On May 26, a chess competition was held among employees of state institutions.

Offsideplus.az reports that the tournament was organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports and Azerbaijan Chess Federation. 67 employees (56 men, 11 women) from 31 state institutions participated in the competition.

According to the final results, Anar Rasulov, an employee of the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, was the first among men. Rauf Rzayev (Ministry of Energy) finished second and Elnur Mehtiyev (Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population) finished third.

Fidan Aghasiyeva (AZAL), Izzet Rahimli (Azerbaijan Ground Transport Agency), Ulker Magsudova (SOCAR) stood out among women.
