Azerbaijani chess player Rauf Mammadov became the champion of France.

Offsideplus.az reports with reference to the press service of the Azerbaijan Chess Federation that the championship, in which 8 teams participated, consisted of 7 rounds.

Rauf Mammadov's "Chartres Echecs" beat all rivals with 30 points. The member of our national team won 2 in 6 games and agreed to a draw 4 times. The captain of the champion team was Namig Guliyev, an Azerbaijani chess player living in France.

 It should be noted that "Bischwiller" with 29 points took the second place, "Asnieres le Grand Echiquer" team with 27 points took the third place.
