According to Rustam Allahverdiyev, head of Neftchi's press and marketing department, the club's management and Bakcell Arena employees were not to blame for the incident. 

As a result of a short circuit in the power line to the stadium, the "projectors" illuminating the field were turned off.

After a break of about 10 minutes, the problem was restored and the match continued.

Rustam Allahverdiyev said that Neftchi is not expected to be punished for this incident.
