As Neftchi PFC, we would like to inform the public that the website www.sportinfo.az has recently been circulating fabricated, unsourced false information and biased articles about our club, its leaders, coaches and various players.

Our fans have repeatedly appealed to the club to take appropriate steps in this regard. However, due to the fact that he did not take appropriate measures, did not reflect the truth about the favorite of millions of people, the flagship of Azerbaijani football "Neftchi" PFC, misinterpreted criticism, insulted the business reputation of the club's management, as well as honor and dignity. The head of this site Muradov Ilkin Vagif oglu was appealed to the Yasamal district court of Baku to take appropriate measures.

According to the appeal, an open court hearing on the civil case was held and a relevant resolution was adopted. It was confirmed that the published articles really contained information that tarnished the business reputation of the club's management, as well as honor and dignity. In this regard, it was decided to refute the information in the same font under the heading "Denial" on the website www.sportinfo.az and to apologize to the head of PFC "Neftchi" Muradov Ilkin Vagif oglu for the site. The defendant is still evading the execution of the Resolution issued by the Yasamal District Court of Baku on behalf of the Republic of Azerbaijan. As Neftchi PFC, we reiterate that we have always respected the activities of journalists. We have always supported them in such difficult and responsible work. We have welcomed any impartial criticism and have always been open to the media, helping journalists to provide accurate and truthful information about our club to the public.

On behalf of Neftchi PFC, we once again express our gratitude to the media representatives who are doing their job with honor, honesty, without violating the ethical rules of journalism, without touching people's lives, without insulting them. and have the right to express their beliefs in any form, including in the media, but the legislation of the Republic of Azerbaijan also prohibits the abuse of freedom of the media. If the above-mentioned site and its management continue the smear campaign against our club in various ways, we will take the next legal steps against these and other activities that damage the image of the club, and we will inform the public about it.
