According to Offsideplus.az, the reason is that the 21-year-old midfielder was provoked during the match with WAC in the Slovak Super League.
After scoring, Bichakchiyan demonstrated a slogan in support of the Armenian soldiers (in English and Armenian) written on the T-shirt under his shirt.
AFFA sent a letter to SFZ regarding the issue, stating that according to the existing rules, the chanting or demonstration of any political slogans during football matches is prohibited.
The association's appeal was answered. According to the letter, in accordance with AFFA's appeal, the issue was considered by the Disciplinary Committee and Vahan Bichakchiyan was warned with a disciplinary sanction.
It should be noted that UEFA employee Monika Mkhitaryan also appealed to the European Football Association (AFFA) for making untrue shares about the historical lands of Azerbaijan on the social network. (Report)
