According to Offsideplus.az, Maccabi player Maor Kandil said this in a statement on the club's official website. The 27-year-old defender said that the opponent was strong before the match with Qarabag in the 5th round of the Europa League:
"The opponent is very strong. But we have analyzed them. We have played in Turkey this season. We are comfortable because it is a short flight. It will be a very important match for us."
The Karabakh-Maccabi match will take place on December 3 at 21:55 Baku time at the Basaksehir Fatih Terim Stadium in Istanbul, Turkey.
