This was stated by the head of the AFFA Licensing Group Sarkhan Hajiyev.
AFFA Executive Committee will hold a video conference tomorrow to discuss the approval of the Licensing Rules for clubs to participate in UEFA club competitions and the Azerbaijani Premier League in the 2021/22 season.
Expressing his opinion on the issue, Hajiyev informed about the current situation. He said that all Premier League participants applied for the European Cups: "On October 30, the AFFA Licensing Group held the" opening meeting "of the 2021-22 Licensing season. Within 7 days after that meeting, Premier League and Division 1 clubs had to apply for participation in the licensing process. All representatives of the Premier League have submitted their applications for a UEFA License in a timely manner. Also, several clubs of the 1st Division have submitted relevant applications to the Licensing Group to obtain a Premier League License.
The head of the Licensing Group added that the required documents will be collected next month: “As the active phase of the licensing process has not yet begun, the clubs have not submitted any documents. For this reason, the question of who has what problem in the document is no longer relevant. So far, the only requirement was to submit an application for participation within 7 days, which was submitted on time. According to various criteria, other documents will be collected from January next year.
