UEFA has disqualified Polish head referee Bartosz Frankowski, who managed Qarabag's European Cup games, until 2025.

Offsideplus.az reports that this was caused by the unethical behavior of the referee, along with another colleague Tomas Musyal, by damaging road signs while drunk.

At the beginning of the current season, they were appointed as VAR referees for the game "Rangers" (Scotland) - "Dynamo" (Kiev, Ukraine) of the III qualifying round of the Champions League. However, due to their actions, they were replaced by other judges.

Both defenders of justice have been suspended from refereeing by UEFA until June 2025 for violating the disciplinary rules.

It should be noted that in 2019, Bartosz Frankovskiy was the head referee of the second match of the second qualifying round of the Champions League of "Qarabag" against "Dandolk" (Ireland) and in 2022, of the playoff round of the Conference League against the French team "Marseille".
