What did Samir achieve with "Sabah"?
The team consisting of children born in 2009 became the champion of Azerbaijan in the U-10 League in the 2018/19 season. They took the 68th place among 128 teams in the Austrian Vienna Champions Cup held in Austria that year.
The team performed in the 1/8 final stage of the AFFA U-13 League for the 2021/22 season, which was restored after the pandemic. The team coached by Elvin Hasanov finished the last season in 2nd place, and this season qualified for the playoffs as the 2nd in the league.

— My favorite football player is Kvaratskhelia (Khvicha) from Georgia. In Azerbaijan, it is Amin Seydiyev, the right wing defender of "Sabah". My favorite clubs are "Napoli" and "Real Madrid". And "Sabah".

— Besides football, I watch boxing. I've been boxing before. I was more interested in football, so I didn't continue with boxing.
— The game you are most happy and sad about?
— It happened when I was 10 years old, in the "Sabah" - "Neftchi" game. We won the final and became the first of the republic. The score was 2:2, I made a double. We won in the penalty shootout. I took the winning penalty. The moment I was sad was last year when we lost to "Qarabag" in the final. We lost 0:2.
— What did you do in the 2023/24 season, Samir?
— I scored 34 goals this season. I scored a penta-trick in 1 game, it was in the match against "Araz-Saatli". I have so many doubles, I forgot how many. I scored 20-25 assists.
From "Sabah" to Europe? To Europe".
— What are your plans for your future career?
— Hopefully, if I get to the top league, I want to continue my career in one of the European clubs.
