- Despite the third season, time passed very quickly. There have been very good cases in these three years. We participated in the Europa League for the first year. It is a pleasure to play in the 60th game. I will always try to play more and benefit the team.
- Do you miss the fans?
- Of course! It is more comfortable for us to play with the fans. They always came and supported us. Fan support is an additional incentive for each player. We miss them very much. We want them to come and support us again.
- What is the most memorable goal you have scored in your career?
- I can mention the goal I scored against the rival team in the game "Sabail" - "Zira" (Azerbaijan Premier League, 15.09.2018) and the goal I scored against "Neftchi" (Azerbaijan Premier League, 25.10.2016) while playing in "Karabakh".
- Who are the toughest opponents against you?
- I think the most difficult game was against the German national team. I would say the most difficult opponents are Tony Kroos and Mesut Ozil.
- As a captain, how do you support your teammates in the locker room before games or during breaks? Did the coach give you any special instructions about this?
- No, no special task was given, but as a captain I try to support and motivate every player. We have a lot of young players. But let me note that our team has experienced players and they help me.
- What do you pay attention to when motivating the team?
- Every player prepares for the game and knows how to prepare well. Our job is to motivate them and "wake up" before the game.
- Looking at the team, who do you think is more promising among the youth?
- We have many promising players. Ruslan Hajiyev is one of them. True, he is often injured. May God help him! Nevertheless, Ruslan Hajiyev and Turan Manafov are future national candidates.
- At what age should you start and what should you pay attention to in order to be a successful footballer?
- It is better to start playing football at an early age. If he passes football school, he can become a successful football player in the future. The player must pay attention to everything on and off the field.
- There are people in the team infected with coronavirus. How do you protect yourself?
- Yes, there are infected people in the team. Coronavirus is already a global problem. The virus is so difficult to protect against. I pay special attention to three rules: wearing a mask, social distance and the use of disinfectants.
- Does the presence of players infected with COVID-19 affect you in the games?
- We test as a team and players who are infected with the virus stay away from us. The absence of infected players affects us psychologically. It is difficult to prepare for the game without one or two players.
