The Brazilian said this during an exclusive interview with Offisdeplus.az. He also noted that the league is competitive with good teams and quality players.
“The league has quality because there are good teams and good players. We will play four times against all opponents. this is a surprise to me,” Silvio said.
There are eight teams in the Azerbaijani top league and each club plays each other four times on a home and away basis to complete the championship.
Keshla are currently fifth on the table with 12 points. Silvio still believes that with good planning, Keshla can compete for first place. He said: “The championship is well played by all teams but with good planning, I believe we can put our self in a condition to go to the top soon.
Since he signed for Keshla during the Summer transfer window, the fans have not been allowed due to COVID-19 precautions. He had this to say about the absence of the fans. “Football without fans is not the same thing but at the moment it is recommended, so we have to do it.”
He also described Baku as a fantastic, beautiful and modern city. “I like to live here,” Silvio concluded.
