According to Offsideplus.az, the Brazilian midfielder will play for Qarabag for many years under the leadership of his teammate Rashad Sadigov. The Eagles have reached an agreement with the experienced midfielder until the end of the season. 

Earlier this year, Richard left Qarabag for the United Arab Emirates and signed a two-year agreement with Baniyas. However, the dismissal of Winfried Schaefer from the post of the head coach and certain changes in the club led to the early parting of ways with Almeida.

The left-handed midfielder played his last official match against Kaliba on March 14 this year.
