Azerbaijani judoka Rustam Orujov, who competes in the weight category of 73 kg in the prestigious competition for licensing points for the Tokyo Olympic Games, won a gold medal, defeating all his rivals, Offsideplus.az reports.
Our judoka reached the final in a prestigious competition, defeating the representatives of Mongolia, Bulgaria, Russia and Sweden. In the match for the gold medal, Rustam defeated the Swiss representative Nils Stamp and greeted the soldier. Thus, Rustam Orujov finished the Hungarian race at the highest step of the podium.
It should be noted that on the first day of the tournament, Orkhan Safarov won a bronze medal for our national team.
The prestigious competition, in which 409 judokas from 61 countries competed, will end on October 25.
