Offsideplus.az reports with reference to the press service of the Azerbaijan Karate Federation (AKF) that our athletes have left for the city of Zadar, where the competition will be held.
The team will compete in kumite, kata and para karate in the continental competition. Farid Savadov (60 kg), Farid Agayev (75 kg), Turgut Hasanov (84 kg) and Murad Hajizade (+84 kg) are competing for prizes in the men's competition. They went to the competition under the leadership of head coach Sahin Atamov. Firdovsi Farzaliyev, Rovshan Aliyev, Huseyn Mammadli and Nuran Rzazade will defend the sports honor of our country in the team competition.
The head coach of the women's team, Shahin Khudaverdiyev, will give four karate players a chance. These are Fidan Teymurova (50 kg), Madina Sadygova (55 kg), Aysu Aliyeva (61 kg) and Renata Arabli (68 kg). Coach Ismayil Guliyev trusted Roman Heydarov and Ramila Heydarova in the kata competition.
In parakarate, coach Renad Aliyev trusted Emilia Mitlinova, Ariana Mitlinova, Nihat Mammadzade, Vidadi Khaligov and Eldar Ahmadov.
2 of our judges will protect justice in the European Championship. These are Jahangir Babayev, the chairman of the AKF Judges Committee, as well as Anar Allahverdiyev, the head coach of the team consisting of young and teenage athletes.
The team went to the competition under the leadership of AKF vice-president Rahman Hatamov and general secretary Gabil Sayadov.
